What is a Veteran Stakeholders Forum?
The VISN 5 MIRECC Veteran Stakeholders Forum (known as Veteran Engagement Groups in some centers) consists of a small group of VA-connected Veterans from across VISN 5 with an interest in mental health topics. These Veterans volunteer to provide their experiences and insights, as the MIRECC shares information about its work.

Why create a Veteran Stakeholders Forum?
Inclusion of input from Veteran stakeholders helps to promote improvement in research development, clinical implementation and knowledge dissemination, which ultimately results in improved healthcare services.
