On-Demand COVID-19 Testing Change of Policy

 
 

As COVID-19 cases continue to surge in our area, VA Northern California Health Care System is committed to ensure our facilities are appropriately stocked with essential supplies. In line with this commitment, we are changing our “On Demand” testing policy for Veterans and staff.
 
As of December 11, 2020, VA Northern California will no longer provide “On Demand” COVID-19 testing for Veterans and staff. This means Veterans and staff who were not recently exposed to COVID-19 and are not having COVID-19 symptoms, will not be eligible for “On Demand” COVID-19 testing.  
 
We are making this decision to ensure there is appropriate testing supplies for critical health care operations.
 
If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and/or you have confirmation you were exposed to COVID-19, please contact your primary care provider or call 1-800-382-VETS (8387).
