Program Description:
While VHA and community settings have made significant progress in implementing recovery-oriented services in outpatient settings, acute inpatient mental health settings have received less attention. This presentation focuses on a VA Health Services Research and Development funded study collecting data from 34 VA acute inpatient units. The live, virtual, knowledge-based presentation will describe our research process, development of a tool to measure recovery-oriented inpatient mental health care, relative frequency of element implementation, and factors affecting implementation. This training applies to healthcare team members.
