Urgent Care Network Transition for Regions 2-3

The current third-party administrator (TPA) for VA urgent care benefits in Community Care Network (CCN) Region 2 and Region 3, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, will transition its responsibilities to Optum Public Sector Solutions, Inc. (Optum) on September 1, 2020.
Community providers in CCN Region 2 and Region 3 who want to provide urgent care services to Veterans after September 1, 2020, must establish a contract with Optum. Community providers located in CCN Region 4 and Region 5 who want to provide urgent care services can either continue or establish a contract with TriWest. To join the network, please visit TriWest’s website at https://www.joinournetwork.triwest.com/Forms/AddProvider.aspx.
For questions and support, community providers should contact their region’s TPA or their local VA medical facility.
