Ensuring that all providers are proficient in Virtual Care Manager will help foster a seamless and safe Telehealth experience for providers and Veterans as VA encourages the use of VA Video Connect (VCC) appointments in response to current public health concerns.
Virtual Care Manager is a tool for scheduling and reviewing VVC appointments. The tool streamlines the appointment process by:
- Allowing providers to schedule and review VVC appointments.
- Enabling clinicians to view pending video visits, join scheduled sessions, and create ad hoc video visits from one location.
- Allowing Veterans’ caregivers or family members and other VA staff to be invited to a Veteran’s ad hoc video visit.
To provide additional assistance, the Quality and Training team is offering Virtual Care Manager office hours for VVC providers every Tuesday and Thursday through May 18.
