IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

The VA Caribbean Healthcare System informs that the Main Hospital and all Satellite Clinic are operational.
All Satellite Clinics are back to Normal Hours of Operation.

VA Emergency Pharmacy Refill Program

Veterans who reside in Guanica, Penuelas, Yauco, Guayanilla, Mayaguez, Ponce, Utuado, or Lajas can bring an active (last filled within 180 days) VA prescription bottle to any retail pharmacy and receive up to a 10-day supply under this emergency activation. Veterans must present a valid ID.  Important Note:  Controlled substance prescriptions cannot be filled under this program.  

This program began January 16, 2020 and will expire January 31, 2020 unless reauthorized by VA. Veterans may call the VISN 8 Clinical Contact Center at 1-877-741-3400 if they have questions or concerns.             

The VA Caribbean HCS has established a Family Support Call Center Hotline: 787-641-4591 or email the sajfamilyassistance@va.gov for support on health care question or concerns.    

Veterans who require immediate urgent care services can call the VISN 8 Clinical Contact Center at 1-877-741-3400 for 24/7 support.
This service is not to be confused with emergency services. If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, please call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.
