Tick season is here!

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Pennsylvania has more Lyme Disease cases than any other state in the nation—more than 73,000 since 2004—and New Jersey and Delaware are not far behind.

VA Healthcare-VISN 4 can help. We now offer a tick bite clinic in the privacy of your home.

If you have been bitten by a tick, call the main number at your local VA medical center and choose option 3. You'll speak first to a VA nurse, then get set up for a virtual visit with a VA provider using your tablet, computer or cell phone. If you need preventive treatment, we'll call in a prescription to your local VA or to a commercial pharmacy near you.

And the clinic is free. No hassle, no copay.

We're available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
