Dr. Jeffrey Capadona

Congratulations to Jeffrey Capadona, PhD who has received a 5-year VA Rehabilitation Research & Development (RR&D) Research Career Scientist Award effective this month.

Dr. Capadona's research lies in studying various aspects of microelectrode performance, and pursuing both materials-based and therapeutic-mediated methods to mitigate the neuroinflammatory-mediated microelectrode failure mechanisms. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed manuscripts in the highest impact journals in the field and was awarded the prestigious Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) in 2012.
