Fresno VA’s Nurse of the Year is a retired Air Force bomber navigator who treats patients with compassion and understanding. He connects with fellow Veterans by listening, not judging.

A group of Milwaukee Veterans is working together to build a boat. The Veterans are working with All Hands Boatworks, a non-profit organization that promotes hands-on, wooden boat building, as part of the recreation therapy program at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center.
