Salem VA Medical Center and all outpatient clinics report normal operating hours.
 
Our key focus is to ensure the safety of Veterans and employees who utilize the services at any of our locations. Salem VAMC has an emergency preparedness plan in place which includes inclement weather events, power failures, etc. The plan includes our outlying CBOCs. In addition, Salem VAMC supports the other VA facilities in Virginia and North Carolina, should they need our assistance. We encourage Veterans and staff to continue to be on the alert of any changes in our operations at any of these locations. Should it become necessary to cancel appointments at the VAMC or our clinics, updates will be posted here, on our Facebook page, and on our Twitter page.
