EMERGENCY NOTIFICATIONS

Situation Update - Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center - Houston, Texas

8/28/17 Update: The Conroe VA Outpatient Clinic is now closed.

MEDVAMC is open for emergent medical care, and staff are working to ensure we remain open for our Veterans who need us. Because of flooding, patient and staff safety is the utmost priority. If you have medical needs and can make it safely to the medical center, please be careful. If you do not have urgent medical needs, please stay in a safe location and heed the guidance of local government officials. We will contact you to reschedule your appointments once the weather conditions improve. You may also utilize the Telecare Call Center at 1-800-639-5137 (713-794-8985) for any medical issues or questions, or use MyHealtheVet Secure Messaging. If you have a medical emergency, dial 911.

VA Outpatient Clinic Status for Monday/Tuesday:
Beaumont: Closed Monday
Conroe: Closed Monday
Galveston: Closed Monday and Tuesday
Katy: Closed Monday and Tuesday
Lake Jackson: Closed Monday and Tuesday
Lufkin: Open
Richmond: Closed Monday and Tuesday
Texas City: Closed Monday and Tuesday
Tomball: Closed Monday
