NVI launches PsychArmor school for communities serving Veterans

NVI Image

Last month, National Veterans Intermediary (NVI) launched “Models for Shared Learning,” the tenth and final course in its groundbreaking collaboration with PsychArmor Institute.

The “School for Communities Serving Veterans” is a portfolio of online courses that help veteran-serving leaders hone the skills needed to achieve impact at all stages of the “collaborative journey."

NVI researched and developed these courses in collaboration with subject matter experts from RAND and the Aspen Institute’s Collective Impact Forum (CIF), and included perspectives from experienced practitioners from among their Local Partner network.

The school is narrated by a cast of subject matter experts who represent diverse leadership experiences: retired General Martin Dempsey, Bob Woodruff Foundation co-founder and ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff, retired Colonel John Tien, Maj. Renee Swift-McCain, Ed. D, former Navy SEAL Jon Sanchez, Mayor Andy Ryder of Lacey, WA, Robert Albright of CIF, NVI Local Partner co-chair and Army veteran Blake Bourne, and several veterans from the NVI team.

Whether you’re new to collaborative leadership or have some experience under your belt, any one of the ten courses can offer you some insight and an opportunity for learning and reflection.

For more information please contact NVI at info@nvi.org.
