THIS SESSION QUALIFIES FOR ANNUAL TRAINING CREDIT
Dear School Certifying Official (SCO),
The National Training Team - Schools (NTT- S) will be hosting live, interactive, non-mandatory training for new SCOs. This training is specifically developed for SCOs with less than 18 months of experience and provides guidance on working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
This training is aimed at providing awareness of VA rules and regulations, increasing certification skills and motivating new SCOs in their roles and responsibilities as a School Certifying Official.
SCOOP training will:
- Clarify differences between different education benefits.
- Identify appropriate points of contact for SCO concerns.
- Illustrate a facility-specific certification through live, interactive demonstrations.
- Provide best practices from experienced SCOs.
- Reiterate annual training compliance requirements.
- Review Education Service's organizational structure.
