U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs

Greetings:

Today, Loan Guaranty Service (LGY) successfully released the Program Participant Management (PPM) System. PPM will help lenders manage their participation in the VA Home Loan program through a self-service portal for completion of lender maintenance tasks including:

  • submitting Underwriter, Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR), and Agent recognition applications,
  • annual renewals and validations of lender information, and
  • keeping lender information (like Points of Contact or “POCs”) current.

Fee payments related to some of those actions will also be collected through PPM.

Main lender and management liaison contacts will receive an email from LGY by December 5, 2024, that includes a PPM PIN. Previously, VA communicated that PINs would be received by November 29. This date has been extended to December 5. If lenders do not receive a pin by December 5, please submit a Help Ticket for assistance.

Users will need this PIN, the Lender ID, and an ID.me account to log into PPM and register as a VA Relationship Manager (VARM). The VARM will be the only PPM user, and each lender is limited to five. The PPM PIN is different from the LGYHub PIN; lenders should retain their WebLGY admins.

The PPM Global Search feature, which allows users to search for Agents, SARs, Underwriters, and others using key attributes like name, will be live by December 6.

For more information, please refer to Circular 26-24-18 and Circular 26-24-18 (Change 1). Webinars have been offered that cover the lender experience in PPM, and recordings and slides from those webinars and a PPM User Guide are available on the LGY Training PPM page.

If you have questions, please reach out via the LGY ServiceNow Portal, and select PPM from the drop-down menu.

Thank you,
