The purpose of this communication is to announce that Circular 26-24-16, Implementation Date for VA’s Home Retention Waterfall, has been published.

Purpose: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) remains steadfast in its commitment to assist borrowers retain their homes and avoid foreclosure. The purpose of this Circular is to provide clarification on the date of implementation for the recently released guidance in VA Servicer Handbook, M26-4, Chapter 5 and Appendix F.
