With the fall term approaching, we would like to remind you that it is imperative that you keep your payment information up to date with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as you utilize your GI Bill benefits. If you would like to update your payment information and are a Veteran or service member, you can do so manually online. Step-by-step instructions to make that change can be found on our GI Bill website. Any GI Bill beneficiary can update their payment information by contacting the Education Call Center at 888-442-4551.

If you received our prior communications, which noted that you had two payment addresses in the VA payment system, your Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) payment information has been updated to reflect just one account. For most beneficiaries future Education payments will now be paid to the non-education benefit payment address on file. If you would like different payment information used to pay all VBA benefits you receive, to include Education benefits, please contact VA using the options provided above.
