Refill Your Rx on VA Mobile App
You can now request refills and track your prescriptions using the VA Health and Benefits app. Existing users will need to download the latest version of the app to gain access to these new features. The app is free and available for both iOS and Android smartphones.

The National Resource Directory connects service members, Veterans, their families, and caregivers to programs and services that support them. It provides access to services and resources at the national, state and local levels to support recovery, rehabilitation and community reintegration.

What You Should Know about Online Safety
We want to ensure Veterans are equipped with the knowledge and tools they need to secure their benefits. Here are some safe practices we encourage Veterans to follow to stay safe online:

Be mindful of the numbers you use: Do not include birthdays or Social Security Numbers (SSNs) in usernames or passwords.

Beware of strange emails: Never click on unknown email attachments.

Be careful where you click: Look for security-enabled website addresses that start with “https” (the extra “s” indicates security).

Don’t share personal information online: Scammers use your social media profiles to steal your identity.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is a nonprofit organization comprised of Veterans and service members from the active, Guard, and reserve forces. The VFW offers a wide range of programs aimed at helping Veterans of every generation. History of GI Bill of Rights
The massive mobilization of industry and manpower with the United States’ entry into World War II lifted the nation out of the Great Depression. But even as the country enjoyed new heights of economic prosperity, American leaders worried about what would happen after the war. In 1942, Roosevelt formed two separate committees to focus specifically on programs to assist returning Veterans. Former American Legion National Commander Harry Colmery wrote a first draft on hotel stationary of items that should be included in future legislation. This handwritten sketch became the initial elements of what would become the GI Bill of Rights.
