SCO Onboarding Prep (SCOOP) - OJT/APP Certifying Officials
The National Training Team - Schools is hosting a live, interactive, non-mandatory training for new School Certifying Officials (SCOs) with less than 18 months of experience to address nuances in working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
This new and exciting training is aimed at providing awareness, increasing skills, and increasing knowledge to motivate new SCOs in their roles and responsibilities.
SCOOP will cover topics that assist new SCOs to:
- Recall Education Service organizational structure.
- Illustrate a facility-specific certification through live, interactive demonstrations.
- Provide best practices from experienced SCOs.
- Identify appropriate points of contact to address their concerns.
- Reiterate training compliance.
