School Standard Remarks are not available in Enrollment Manager. Adding remarks may flag the need for a manual review and can delay processing. We recommend adding notes to a student’s enrollment when needed. Notes are visible in Enrollment Manager for you and all other Certifying Officials to view. Notes are not transmitted to Regional Processing Offices (RPO), Veterans Claims Examiners (VCE) or VA Central Office. 

On-the-Job Training (OJT) and Apprenticeship: School Certifying Officials can submit an amendment to an OJT/APP enrollment. 

Tips if experiencing difficulties adding an enrollment:

1. The student may not have a Benefit Type on file. Next Steps: Check to confirm and/or correct this information in the ‘Benefits’ tab.
2. The student may not be linked or associated with one of your schools. Next Steps: Check to confirm and/or correct this information in ‘Programs’ tab.

Tips when searching for a student: 

1. If you enter a student’s first name and are unable to find the correct student, try searching by the student’s last name or other identifiable fields.
2. When on the ‘Search my students’ tab, you can apply any of the other filters (other than training type) to try to find the student you are searching for.

Reminders:

1. Please collect new GI Bill students’ dates of birth. It is required to provide this information to add new students to your school going forward.
2. There should NEVER be a dropdown list for Academic Info cards on the Programs tab. Attempting to use a dropdown on this page will result in errors. Instead, you need to use the Update Student's Academic Info button to make changes on the Update page.
