School Certifying Officials,

We hope you’re enjoying Enrollment Manager! We heard your feedback, and are providing a few updates for you on Enrollment Manager features:

Chapter 35: School Certifying Officials can create Chapter 35 students in Enrollment Manager. The qualifying Veteran Social Security Number/VA File Number will function for Veterans who exist in U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs systems. 

Remaining Entitlement: The remaining entitlement for a student’s current benefit type displays on the student’s Profile and Benefits tab.

Best way to bookmark the VA Education Platform Portal link:

We highly recommend bookmarking the VA Education Platform Portal link to make logging into Enrollment Manager easier. To do this, follow the steps below based on the browser you’re using.

Google Chrome:

1. Open Google Chrome and go to https://iam.education.va.gov to add to your favorites.
2. At the top-right of the screen, click on the “Star” Here, you can give the bookmark a unique name and choose the location where you want the bookmark to live. Next, select the “More…” button to edit the URL.
3. In the “URL” text field, input the exact URL you would like to associate with this bookmark (https://iam.education.va.gov). Select the “Save” button to save the bookmark.
4. You can access your bookmarks by selecting the “three dots” in the top right of the address bar and selecting the “Bookmarks” tab.

Microsoft Edge:

1. Open Microsoft Edge and go to https://iam.education.va.gov to add to your favorites.
2. Select the “Star” button in the address bar and input the name and folder where you want to place this bookmark. Select the “More” button to edit the URL.
3. In the “URL” text field, input the exact URL you would like to associate with this bookmark (https://iam.education.va.gov). Select the “Save” button to save the bookmark.
4. You can access all your bookmarks by selecting the “Favorites” icon next to the address bar.

How to log in:

1. Go to the VA Education Platform Portal at: https://iam.education.va.gov/
2. Select SSOe to sign in with your verified ID.me or Login.gov account.
3. Enter your email and password, choose your authentication method (text or phone) and input the code you receive.
4. Once you’ve been authenticated, you will be redirected to the VA Education Platform Landing Page where you will be able to request access to Enrollment Manager.

How to access Enrollment Manager:

There are two ways to gain access to Enrollment Manager. Please follow the steps for the option that best aligns with your credentials:

Option 1 - If you have a legacy VA-ONCE account, you will be able to access Enrollment Manager by utilizing your VA-ONCE credentials. Select the “Legacy VA-ONCE" user option.

Option 2 – Select “Request Access” if you do not have VA-ONCE credentials. Enter your first name, last name, email and select “School Certifying Official” as your role. Continue to follow the prompts to complete your access request. You can find more information in Section 2, page 8 of the Enrollment Manager User Guide.

NOTE: If your first and last name in VA-ONCE does not match your ID.me exactly, you may receive error when attempting to log in with your legacy credentials and will need to submit a new access request instead.
