School Certifying Official,
You are receiving this email because we identified you as a School Certifying Official (SCO) assigned to a foreign institution. As you may know from previous emails, Enrollment Manager will be replacing VA-ONCE as the system you will use to certify GI Bill® student enrollments.
The new system will become available on Monday, March 6, 2023. To prepare, we encourage you to create an ID.me account and verify your identity as soon as possible.
ID.me is the preferred login method for foreign identity verification and having a verified ID.me account is required to access Enrollment Manager.
How to verify your ID.me account with a non-U.S. address
If you have an address outside the U.S., you can still use ID.me to verify your identity. Get started by creating your account today. To verify your account, you will be asked to show your identity documents on a video call with an ID.me representative.
For more information, check out the “What if I don’t live in the United States?” blog on ID.me’s website for how to verify. Additionally, you can email us at EDUSTAENG.VBAVACO@va.gov if you cannot connect with a ID.me representative.
Unwilling to use ID.me?
If you wish not to comply with the ID.me verification requirement, please contact your approval authority (Federal Approval Team or Philippines Education Liaison Representatives) to communicate that you do not wish to comply and that your facility will no longer participate in the GI Bill program.
Unable to use ID.me?
If you are unable to create an ID.me account due to verification restrictions, we will accept enrollment certifications for existing GI Bill® students at your institution through an alternative method. More information about the alternative method will be shared in future communications.
Thank you,
Education Service
