School Certifying Officials,
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is excited about the next phase of the DGIB effort with the upcoming launch of Enrollment Manager, a significant improvement over the legacy system VA-ONCE. We recognize that your role as School Certifying Officials (SCOs) needs a modern platform to better serve our veterans and beneficiaries in achieving their educational goals.
To optimize the new functionality, we will delay the implementation from mid-January 2023 to the early March 2023 timeframe. As a result of the postponement, you will be able to submit enrollment certifications during the peak Spring semester enrollment period using the current VA-ONCE system.
The delayed implementation timeline will allow more time for you to prepare for the transition to the new system. VA has developed multiple interactive training modules to provide a hands-on experience before the system launch. The three modules should take no more than approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Before Enrollment Manager goes live, there will be additional training resources including in-person events and webinars.

We will share additional details in the coming weeks. Thank you for your continued dedication to learning about Enrollment Manager and supporting our GI Bill® beneficiaries.
Thank you,
Education Service
