Greetings VR&E Participants,

Today, Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Service’s Electronic Virtual Assistant (e-VA) is receiving a major upgrade! VR&E Veterans, Service members, and Dependents will now have the ability to electronically sign and return documents directly to their assigned VR&E Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (VRC) from their smartphone, tablet or computer.

As a reminder, if you are not already participating in e-VA and would like to, you must opt-in to start using the application. Upon opt-in acceptance, the benefits of e-VA will immediately be made available. If interested in opting into e-VA, please contact your counselor for information. (Please note, this electronic system is only available to Veterans, Service members, or Dependents receiving services from VR&E.)

e-VA is a private and secure platform that will streamline electronic communication through text messaging or email to provide Veterans timely responses to basic questions, schedule and reschedule Veteran appointments, receive automated alerts, follow-up messages and appointment reminders, and submit documentation from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Additionally, all correspondence for a particular Veteran within e-VA will be captured and saved in that Veteran’s record in VR&E’s case management system.

For questions or additional assistance, please call or email your VR&E counselor at the local VA Regional Office (RO).

Thank you,

Veteran Readiness and Employment Service
