Dear GI Bill® Student,

Welcome to the 2022 Fall term! We hope that you enjoyed the summer and were able to take time to relax and recharge, while enjoying time with friends and family. As you ramp up for the fall term, we invite you to view this welcome message from Denis McDonough, Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA).

This academic year, VA remains hard at work to ensure that you receive your earned education benefits. We continue to make improvements to our IT systems, through our Digital GI Bill® modernization. Such improvements will include an easier way for you to apply for benefits and faster benefits decisions. Throughout the fall term, we will share more details about these improvements. So, be sure to add Veteransbenefits@messages.va.gov to your contacts and follow us on Facebook, to make sure you catch all of our updates!
