Dear School Certifying Officials,

As previously shared, students with terms starting on or after December 17, 2021 and using their Post-9/11 GI Bill® benefits at an Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) facility are now required to verify their enrollment at the end of each month to continue receiving their Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) and/or kicker payments. 

To help you better understand and communicate this new requirement with your students, we've created the Monthly Enrollment Verification Communication Toolkit for IHL Facilities. We know that they trust you to tell them what they need to know about their benefits.

In this toolkit, you will find common questions and answers, an outline of key processes and dates, and pre-drafted email and social media messaging that can be used or adapted to help you reach your students. You can also explore our Enrollment Verification website and FAQs for additional information.
