Pittsburgh RO Status of Operations

The Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Pittsburgh Regional Office (RO) is open from 8am-3pm, Monday-Friday (appointments preferred).  Veterans with questions regarding their VA benefits are urged to continue scheduling virtual appointments with our Public Contact Team to address specific concerns and claims related inquiries. To schedule an appointment for in person or virtual services:

Veterans are encouraged to work with their appointed Veterans Service Officer.

Veterans can continue to get information about benefits or file a claim for benefits by visiting our website at www.va.gov. For claims related or other questions, Veterans may request information via Inquiry Routing & Information System (IRIS) or by calling 1-800-827-1000.

Virtual Town Hall

Virtual Town Hall

Date & Time: Friday, April 9, 2021 | 12:00pm

Event: This virtual town hall will present information on resources, programs, and services available to Veterans and their families during the COVID-19 crisis in the Pittsburgh area.

Panelists will provide a brief overview of their organization and available services for Veterans. This town hall will include a 10-20-minute Q&A, answering questions submitted in advance.

Send your questions! Questions are being collected in advance and efforts will be made to address as many as possible during the town hall. When you register, please submit your questions regarding local services for Veterans.

Women Veterans Speaker Series

Women Veterans Monthly Speaker Series

Virtual Veteran Employment Series

Butler Virtual Employment Series

Please join Butler VA Health Care System’s Vocational Rehabilitation Department for a virtual seminar series designed to provide Veterans with skills and resources to increase success in the search for employment.

This seminar is a collaborative effort between the Butler VA Health Care System, local employers, colleges and universities, and other community partners.

In cooperation with the Butler VA Medical Center, a representative from the VBA Pittsburgh RO will be available to meet with Veterans and claimants via Tele-benefits on select Fridays.
