VALERI Special Announcement

The VALERI application will be unavailable on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, from 9:00 until 10:00 p.m. EST for a system deployment. All users must log out of the system by 8:45 p.m. EST.

The deployment will include the following items:

• LM-23204 – The VALERI Fee Cost Schedule will be updated to reflect a change in the Bankruptcy Filing fee to $188. The new amount is applicable to all bankruptcy filings after December 1, 2020. The updated VALERI Fee Cost Schedule will be available at https://www.benefits.va.gov/HOMELOANS/servicers_valeri_rules.asp on Thursday, March 11, 2021.
• LM-23117 – If there is no “Primary Reason for Default” present in the nightly file, the Electronic Default Notice (EDN) event will generate on the 67^th day of delinquency with a defaulted RFD of “Other” instead of the 61^st day. If the RFD is populated with one of the options available, the EDN event will generate on the 61^st day of delinquency.
• LM-19127 – The business rule logic in the Loan Modification Complete event will be corrected to capture the correct loan modification approval date.
