File a Claim for Your Disability Benefits
Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) is still accepting claims for disability compensation despite the COVID-19 pandemic. On May 28, we resumed in-person compensation and pension (C&P) exams in some locations and plan to make them available in more when possible. If an in-person exam isn’t available yet, you can still submit private treatment records or request that VBA obtain those records on your behalf, if you’re already seeking treatment. You can always seek accredited assistance in completing claims and get more information and assistance online.
