Do you have questions about the Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) Change Letter you received in the mail? We created an infographic to answer your questions.

On December 1, 2019, VA systems were updated to process MHA in accordance with the Colmery Act. If you received an MHA payment between August 1, 2018 and December 1, 2019, you were sent a letter stating if you were paid correctly, underpaid or overpaid.

Review the MHA Change Letter infographic for valuable information on the types of letters that were sent out.
