Get the information you need to relay Forever GI Bill updates to your students.

Dear School Certifying Officials,

It’s here! The highly anticipated Forever GI Bill Communications Toolkit is ready for your use.

Sections 107 and 501 of the Colmery Act, also known as the “Forever GI Bill,” affect students’ Monthly Housing Allowance rates. Based on your feedback and recommendations, we created a toolkit to guide your correspondence with students and help them understand what to expect as changes are implemented. Each section of the toolkit can be downloaded for you to tailor outreach to your students.

Inside you’ll find:

High level messaging for one-on-one discussions with students or as part of a general announcement.
Email language to send information to your GI Bill beneficiaries via email.
Web/newsletter blurb to be used throughout your website, newsletter and other outreach platforms.
Social media posts for reaching students through Facebook and Twitter.
Infographics to accompany the social media messages and used as stand-alone print outs.
Additional resources to point you and your students to where to go to get your questions answered.
