Since the upgrade to VINCI 3.0 on September 30, many users have experienced access, connectivity, and other issues while using the VINCI Standard Workspace, VINCI Development Workspaces, and VINCI Remote Applications. We acknowledge the impact these issues have caused and apologize for the inconvenience and loss of productivity.

While we have temporary workarounds in place, we have not yet identified permanent solutions. We also do not have a current way to track how many users are impacted and how often users are impacted without users submitting a ticket. Thus, we are asking that you send an email to VINCI@va.gov EVERY TIME you experience an issue regardless of whether you have reported it previously or not. We also would like to track how many people are using PIV exemptions to login to VINCI.  Please email VINCI@va.gov if you are using a PIV exemption.

Our plan is for all users to eventually be able to use VINCI 3.0.

The VINCI Workspace Launcher page on VINCI Central will log you into the new VINCI 3.0 environment.

If you have difficulty access VINCI 3.0 use one of the following temporary workarounds:

• Use VINCI 2.0, which can only be accessed through this link: https://vincitest.vha.med.va.gov/WebApps/VinciWorkspaceLauncher
• Request a PIV exemption through the Enterprise Service Desk at (855) 673-4357. This will need to be renewed every 7 days and will require your supervisor’s approval.

Note, SAS GRID is not yet available in VINCI 3.0, users need to log into VINCI 2.0 to use SAS GRID.
