Start with Pre-need Burial Eligibility
Veterans and spouses who want to be buried in a VA national cemetery can apply to find out in advance if they are eligible. The online application takes less than 10 minutes to complete and is the starting point in end-of-life planning with your family. Completing it now can save your loved ones time, money, and uncertainty in the future.

Your Story, Your Legacy
You can now tell your own story before you pass away through the Veterans Legacy Memorial’s (VLM) “Your Story, Your Legacy” feature. You can privately submit images, autobiographies, written tributes, military and life milestones, and historical documents. After passing away, the content you entered will become public and appear on the VLM website, the largest online memorial site dedicated to America’s Veterans.
To get access to the “Your Story, Your Legacy” page, you first need to submit a VA pre-need burial eligibility application online. Once approved, you will receive an email to set up your personal VLM page. Watch this short video to learn more.
