Marine Corps Veteran Tonya Harris was looking for a safe space, and she found it courtesy of fellow Marine and North Texas VA chaplain Teresa F. Terry. Terry is one of North Texas VA’s 16 chaplains, and she plays an often overlooked role in the well-being of Veterans using VA medical services. [From VA News]

Milwaukee VA’s Center for Development & Civic Engagement Service hosted its inaugural Diva Day in early December. Forty-five female Veterans were able to attend the free event, which was spearheaded by the team to not only help provide quality donated items to the female Veterans but for them to feel seen and supported in every way that could be provided.
