At its site at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Veterans' Memorial is the first in the Commonwealth to honor Veterans of all eras from the Revolutionary War forward. Maintained by DMVA, it is the largest Veterans’ memorial located in any of the 143 national cemeteries operated by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Veterans Temporary Assistance Program Provides Financial Relief To Veterans, Beneficiaries Facing Unexpected Hardship
Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn resulting in a financial hardship, but Pennsylvania Veterans don’t have to face adversity alone or go without basic necessities.
Eligible veterans or their beneficiaries can qualify for an amount not to exceed $1,600 in a 12-month period. Eligibility requirements include: a person who served in the Armed Forces of the United States (discharged under honorable conditions), died in service or was killed in action, or suffered a service-connected disability.

Veteran Designation on Pennsylvania Drivers License
Qualified applicants can have a Veteran designation added to their drivers license, once added to your license or ID, it will automatically appear each time your license or ID is renewed.

PA Community Veteran Engagement Boards
The Community Veterans Engagement Board (CVEB) model enables Veterans, Service members, Military Families, Veteran advocates, community service providers and stakeholders to have a collective voice in identifying community goals and work to resolve gaps in service at the local level to improve the lives of Veterans, Military Families, Caregivers, and Survivors.
There are currently five Community Veteran Engagement Boards in Pennsylvania:
- Military and Veterans in Greater Pittsburgh
- Delaware Valley Veterans Consortium
- Your Veteran Community Outreach and Action Team
- Greater Butler Community Veterans Collaborative Board
- McKean County Board
