VA COVID-19 Vaccines
Veterans and caregivers can sign up for an easy way to stay informed about getting a COVID-19 vaccine through VA at https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine/stay-informed.
VA is prioritizing and offering vaccines to enrolled Veterans actively receiving VA health care. If Veterans are not currently receiving health care through VA, find out eligibility and how to apply here.

The U.S. Senate confirmed VA Secretary nominee Denis McDonough Monday, Feb. 8, and he was sworn in Tuesday, Feb. 9 as the eleventh VA secretary.

Veterans Get Answers to COVID-19 Vaccine Questions
Dr. Anthony Fauci said while millions already received the vaccine, he said some still have questions whether to get the vaccine. Fauci cited the “extraordinary” 94-95% effective rate of two COVID-19 vaccines, then added that there were no cut corners or safety issues – two facts independently verified by scientists.

Together, let’s show 18,000 service members deployed around the world how much their service and sacrifice means to us. Operation Gratitude is asking virtual volunteers to write letters and handcraft items to be included in care packages being sent in March.

Heroes to Hives offers a free Veteran beekeeping program that can help improve well-being. Veterans throughout the U.S. can participate in the online portion of the course. Deadline submission is Feb. 28.
