In Case You Missed It: The Center for Minority Veterans is sharing recent news stories that may be of interest to minority Veterans, service members, and their supporters on a weekly basis.
In honor of National Native American Heritage Month, today’s #VeteranOfTheDay is Army Veteran Leroy Mzhickteno, who served during World War II. Leroy Mzhickteno grew up on a Potawatomi Reservation during the Great Depression. [From VAntage Point]

VA’s National Cemetery Administration (NCA) launched its new “Find A Veteran, Post A Tribute” campaign. The effort intends to increase awareness of the Veterans Legacy Memorial (VLM) – the nation’s first digital platform dedicated entirely to memorializing more than 3.7 million Veterans interred in VA’s national cemeteries.
