Family caregivers have expanded benefits and support from VA's Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC), with training, enhanced respite care, counseling, technical support, beneficiary travel, a financial stipend, and access to health care.

Post-9/11 Veterans, up to age 35, have a unique opportunity to apply for a 10-month intensive training program in fuels reduction, fuels management, and wildland firefighting. The program is now open and runs January 10 – October 8, 2021.
