Alaska Native Veterans Program Land Claim Eligibility
The Alaska Native Veterans Program of 2019 allows Alaska Native Veterans who served in the Vietnam era, or an heir of theirs, to claim between 2.5 and 160 acres of land in Alaska. Join a panel of representatives from VA and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for details on the program.
Eight VA Facilities Recognized for Patient Experience Achievements
Facilities received the awards during a virtual VA Patient Experience Symposium. More than 450 VA leaders attended VA’s first Patient Experience Symposium in person in 2019 to share best customer experience practices. Many practices shared at last year's symposium were put in place by VA employees since, contributing to a steady rise in Veteran trust of VA health care.
The Veterans Health Administration’s Dr. Richard Stone is calling on Veterans to continue their service to their country in protecting their community and loved ones by properly wearing a mask in public and practicing good hand washing.
