You Are Invited to a Town Hall Meeting

President Trump signed Executive Order 13861 The President’s Roadmap to Empower Veterans and End a National Tragedy of Suicide (PREVENTS) on March 5, 2019.

The PREVENTS Task Force is holding a town hall meeting on Tuesday January 28, 2020 from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Hillsborough Community College Dale Mabry Campus. You are invited to attend and provide your feedback.

PREVENTS Task Force Executive Director Dr. Barbara Van Dahlen will moderate a panel of local experts on suicide prevention including:

  • Dr. Rob Neff, Deputy Director/Social Performance
  • Dr. Alfonso Carreno, Chief, Mental Health, Bay Pines VAMC
  • Melissa Leslie, Regional Substance Abuse & Mental Health Director, Florida Department of Children and Families, SunCoast Region
  • Conrad Washington, Acting Director, VA Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiative
  • Mark DiBona, Patrol Sergeant/Police Academy Instructor at Seminole State College
