Veterans can now access patient billing statements online
AccessVA is a convenient new service allowing Veterans access to patient billing statements online.
The new feature is for Veterans who receive care at a VA hospital or clinic for non service-connected conditions and may owe a co-payment (Veterans are not billed for service-connected care.).

Appeals modernization is giving Veterans a greater choice in how to disagree with a VA claim decision.
Veterans can now choose how decisions are reviewed, select a docket and have a virtual hearing to ease the appeals process.

Homes For Our Troops helps seriously injured Veterans
Homes For Our Troops has built more than 280 homes for seriously injured post-9/11 Veterans.
Vicente Ramirez, who lost one leg and injured the other in two IED blasts while serving in the U.S. Army recently received a new, specially adapted home courtesy of the non-profit.

There are more than 270K Veterans in Los Angeles County, making it the largest county by Veteran (and civilian) population in the nation.
The Los Angeles Region Community Veteran Engagement Board and the Federal Advisory Committee Veteran Community Oversight is working to improve the lives of Veterans who call Los Angeles County home.
