The 2019 Caregiver Resource Directory (CRD), from DoD Military Caregiver Support, has officially been released. The annual update includes 114 pages of thoroughly vetted resources, organizations, agencies, and programs for Veterans and Caregivers. The directory is an extensive source of information for childcare, education and training, healthcare needs, legal assistance, rest and relaxation, peer support, mentoring, and so much more.

Student loan forgiveness for totally disabled Veterans is not a new program, but more than 25,000 Veterans have not completed the application process to have their debts forgiven. President Trump's signing of an official memorandum last week is an effort to simplify and expedite the process so that more disabled Veterans can have their federal student loans discharged. The U.S. Department of Education says it plans to notify all eligible Veterans.

Operation Support Our Troops - America's mission is to support the morale and well being of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families both while they are deployed in harm’s way and after their return. They accomplish this by providing a link between citizens and military personnel by sending comfort packages of items that are not readily available to our troops in their deployed locations, along with personal letters, cards and notes of support from the community at large.
