Veterans "Highly Desired" for Military Exchange jobs
If you are a Veteran who would like to return to the Middle East, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, or AAFES, may have a job for you.
AAFES is currently recruiting Veterans for jobs “downrange.” Right now, jobs are open in Kuwait, but positions frequently come available in 41 stores in eight countries in the Middle East, including Iraq and Afghanistan.

When the President signed executive order "PREVENTS," creating an inter-agency task force, leadership within VA and the White House began planning a road map to address the national tragedy of Veteran suicide.
They now ask for your help. The PREVENTS Task Force is releasing an RFI (Request for Information) to get your ideas in radically reducing suicide among Veterans.
"Veteran suicide requires an all-hands on-deck approach” said VA Secretary Robert Wilkie.

Free Songwriting with Soldiers Concert
Award-winning songwriters, Veterans and Service members will come together for a night of powerful music documenting military Veterans’ experiences at the Songwriting With Soldiers concert.
Veteran's are invited to the free concert on Thursday, Aug. 1, at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium. The concert will be taped for national broadcast on PBS this fall.
