Those attending the current four-week run of The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles’ production of “Henry IV” at the West Los Angeles VA
Campus will may immediately recognize Tom Hanks as Falstaff, but what
they probably don’t realize is that a crew of Veterans not only built
the stage, but are also working behind the scenes to make the production
a success.
Veterans Legacy Program: Cpl. Harry Weber, a hero behind the frontlines
Cpl. Harry Weber enlisted in the Army during World War II. He served as
a typist in the 554th Quartermaster Railhead Company. Though he did not
serve on the frontlines of the battlefields, his actions during the war
saved the lives of those around him.

Samuel served during World War II. He was 19 when he reported to boot camp in 1943. He went on to join the group of Navajo Code Talkers who used a communication code enemies could not decipher.
