Female Veteran Suicide Prevention Act signed into law

VA supports the Female Veteran Suicide Prevention Act, while noting that we require additional appropriations to implement it as written. The bill, which was signed into law by President Obama June 30, requires the department to identify which VA mental health care and suicide prevention programs are most effective for women Veterans and those having the highest satisfaction rates among women Veterans.
