Reminder: Comment Periods End August 15 for Alcohol Facts Statements and Major Allergen Labeling Proposals
As a reminder, the extended comment periods for Notice No. 237, Alcohol Facts Statements in the Labeling of Wines, Distilled Spirits, and Malt Beverages, and Notice No. 238, Major Food Allergen Labeling for Wines, Distilled Spirits, and Malt Beverages, will close at 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday, August 15, 2025.
You may electronically view the proposed rule documents and submit comments to TTB via the Regulations.gov website within Docket No. TTB-2025-0002 for the Alcohol Facts Statements proposal and within Docket No. TTB-2025-0003 for the Major Food Allergen Labeling proposal. Alternatively, you may submit comments postmarked by August 15 via postal mail to the Director, Regulations and Ruling Division, Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, 1310 G Street NW, Box 12, Washington, DC 20005.
