If you file Firearms and Ammunition Excise Tax (FAET) returns, the due date for the first quarterly filing period in 2025 is Wednesday, April 30.
Please see our FAET page on TTB.gov to determine if you are liable for FAET and the associated tax rates.
We recommend that you file TTB excise tax returns and make payments electronically using Pay.gov.

ACTION: Notice of 2025 Trade and Cargo Security Summit
SUMMARY: This document announces that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will convene the 2025 Trade and Cargo Security (TCS) Summit in New Orleans, LA, on May 6–8, 2025. The 2025 TCS Summit will be open for the public to attend in person or via webinar. The 2025 TCS Summit will feature CBP personnel, members of the trade community, and members of other government agencies in panel discussions on CBP’s role in international trade initiatives and programs. Members of the international trade and transportation communities and other interested parties are encouraged to attend.
DATES: Tuesday, May 6, 2025 (opening remarks and general sessions, 8:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. CDT), Wednesday, May 7, 2025 (breakout sessions, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CDT), and Thursday, May 8, 2025 (breakout sessions, 8:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. CDT).
