CBMA Imports: First Quarter Claims May Now Be Filed
Importers seeking refunds based on Craft Beverage Modernization Act (CBMA) tax benefits assigned to them by foreign producers may now begin filing claims in myTTB for products entered into the United States between January 1 and March 31, 2025.
Need help filing?
TTB has published a user guide that provides step-by-step instructions for submitting claims in myTTB CBMA Importer Claims. It is fast and simple β in most cases, myTTB will retrieve the relevant customs entry data from the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) to support your claim.
TTB has also published an alternate procedure and accompanying user guide for submitting claims in limited circumstances in which importers are unable to add or correct data in ACE.
Filing for the first time?
To access the myTTB CBMA Importer Claims system, importers must first create their myTTB account, activate their entity in myTTB, and authorize users to prepare and submit claims. For instructions on how to do so, visit Getting Started in myTTB.
Visit TTB.gov for additional information about CBMA Imports or to see our current claims processing times.
