Industrial Alcohol Presentation Now Available
We recently gave a presentation titled TTB and Industrial Alcohol: Key Regulations Topics for Industry Members. ACTION: Technical Amendment
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a final rule making technical amendments to its regulations to make “conforming changes to its regulations issued under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act) as required by the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2022, which amended the term “tobacco product” in the FD&C Act to include products that contain nicotine from any source.” The FDA final rule is effective March 20, 2023.
The FDA also issued a notice listing tobacco-related guidance documents that have been amended to make similar conforming changes.
The technical amendments to title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) are effective March 20, 2023.
