Planning for Fiscal Year 2023 Outreach is Underway!
We are committed to facilitating voluntary compliance through education and outreach. The end of September brought a close to our outreach activities for fiscal year 2022—and what a busy year it was! TTB staff participated in a wide range of outreach events, including presenting at industry conferences across all of our regulated commodities, meeting with trade associations, providing instruction at educational institutions, conducting webinars, partnering with states to provide training, and staffing booths at trade shows.
Now that fiscal year 2023 has begun, we are planning our outreach activities for the coming year. If you are interested in having TTB participate at a conference, receiving TTB training on a specific topic, hearing what’s going on at TTB, or want to tell us about what’s going on in your world, let us know by submitting a request using the button below or on our TTB Outreach page on TTB.gov.
We ask that you contact us at least 90 days before your event. We will try to respond within two weeks of receiving your inquiry.
Understanding the Label and Formula Application Processing Times Pages
Our Processing Times for Label Applications and Processing Times for Beverage Alcohol Formulas pages are two of the most popular on TTB.gov. If you are wondering how long it might take to get your approvals, use the information on these pages to make a good estimate.
Average Label/Formula Processing Time
The number of days shown are determined by averaging our processing times from the previous two weeks. Because it’s based on past performance it may not be an exact prediction of current or future performance, but it does provide you with an estimate of how long you should plan for in your product timeline.
Your actual processing time is impacted by many things, including the completeness of the submission, staff availability, and fluctuations in how many new and corrected applications we receive.
Today We are Processing New Applications Received On…
We generally process applications in the order in which we receive them. How quickly we are able to process the new applications received on a particular day depends on several factors, including how many corrected applications are waiting to be processed, because corrected applications go to the top of the queue above new applications received on the same day.
If you have feedback on these pages, please take the one-question “How helpful is this page?” survey available at the bottom of each page.
