TTB Enhances Security of Formulas and COLAs Online with New Sign-In Process
We’re taking your Formulas Online and COLAs Online account security to the next level with a new sign-in process. Starting September 22, 2022, Formulas Online and COLAs Online will require you to enter a one-time verification code—a code we send you every time that you log in to each system.
Adding One-time Verification Code to Sign-In Process
We are adding one of the most common types of system security to Formulas Online and COLAs Online: the one-time verification code. In other words, rather than simply asking for a username and password when you sign in, you’ll be required to enter a second factor, the one-time verification code, to confirm your identity.
See TTB Enhances Security of Formulas and COLAs Online with New Sign-In Process to learn more about why we’re making this change.

TTB Employees Win United States Attorney’s Awards
On August 11, 2022, distinguished members of the U.S. Attorney’s Office – Southern District of Texas and family and friends gathered to recognize individuals who made outstanding contributions towards accomplishing the U.S. Attorney’s common law-enforcement mission.
Among those honored were two of our very own TTB staff--an investigator and a forensic auditor--for their excellent work in a recent complex excise tax case.
Our staff’s expert ability to sort and analyze enormous amounts of records and provide detailed and useful reports helped prosecutors reconstruct and understand evidence that resulted in the recovery of millions of dollars in excise tax owed to the government.
The U.S. Attorney’s Awards for the Southern District of Texas, one of the busiest districts in the nation, recognizes outstanding accomplishments that support over 200 attorneys that serve more than 9 million people in 43 counties from Houston to the Mexican border.
“We are extremely pleased that the Southern District of Texas United States Attorney’s Office recognized TTB," Carrie May, Assistant Administrator (Field Operations) stated. "TTB plays a vital role in criminal enforcement in its regulated industries. The hard work and commitment to excellence from our team are a credit to TTB and we thank them for their contributions.”
Congratulations to our investigator and forensic auditor for receiving this prestigious award and showcasing the expertise and professionalism of TTB and the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
